Sushant Singh Rajput death: Kirti Sanon opens up on irresponsible journalism, blame game on social media and more

Social media has become real world and real world has become fake, says Kirti Sanon

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. His sudden demise left his fans and colleagues in shock, and many continue to express their feelings over his demise on social media.

Bollywood actress Kirti Sanon, who shared screen space with Sushant in romantic-action film Raabta and a good friend to the late actor took to twitter and shared her thoughts over irresponsible journalism, trolling, negativity and blame game on social media over the actor’s untimely death.

The actress pointed out how social media has become the real world and the real world has become a fake one. She asked stop gossiping and knowing it all. She also emphasized that it is okay to cry your heart out, be it a girl or a boy. She urged the ones struggling with mental health issues to reach out to their loved ones and never let them go.

Kriti is one of the few celebs who was seen at the funeral held on Monday evening. Meanwhile, about her heartfelt post, Kriti penned on how she wished so many things for Sushant and also wrote about his brilliant mind being his best friend and worst enemy.

Kriti wrote, “Sush… I knew that your brilliant mind was your best friend and your worst enemy… but it has broken me completely to know that you had a moment in your life where Dying felt easier or better than Living. I so wish you had people around you to get you past THAT moment, I wish you hadn’t pushed the ones who loved you away… I wish I could have fixed that something which was broken inside you… I couldn’t…”

The actor further penned, “I wish so so many things… A part of my heart has gone with you… and a part will always keep you alive… Never stopped praying for your happiness and never will…”

Just a day ago, however, the actress had been shamed online for failing to post tributes to Sushant Singh Rajput on social media.

In an Instagram post, Kirti Sanon’s younger sister, Nupur Sanon said that the news of Sushant’s death has triggered a conversation on mental health, but at the same time, there is a section of people ‘harassing’ those who were grieving for not sharing tributes on Instagram.

She slammed the trolls for their ‘disgusting tweets, messages and comments.

“Everybody has suddenly started talking about mental health on social media since yesterday…and then we have people harassing people who are actually in a state of shock, who are hurt, who are grieving ..by sending them disgusting tweets, msgs, comments for not posting on lnstagram !! ‘You are so heartless’ ‘ek post tak nahi daala’ ‘Tum logo ne ek reaction nahi diya kitne pathar dil ho tum’ These are the comments and msgs we are constantly getting !! Aap ki permission ho toh sukoon se ro sakte hain?? Please??” she wrote.
