Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma to play negative lead in Anupama serial on Star Plus
Star Plus is all set to launch its new show Anupama (produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions w) featuring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in lead roles. The show will air from 13 July 2020, every Monday-Friday at 10 pm.
The makers of the show have previously produced popular shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
The story of the show is about Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly), a mother who has sacrificed her life for her family, only to be neglected and taken for granted by them.
The show star cast also features popular actors including Paras Kalnawat, Ekta Saraiya, Aashish Mehrotra, Muskan Bamne and Arvind Vaidya playing pivotal roles.
Now, as per latest reports, talented TV actress Additi Gupta who was supposed to play the negative lead in the show, might get replaced.
The reason for the same is that Aditi was recently tested positive for COVID-19 and is undergoing treatment. The actress has recovered, however, will be unable to shoot for the show.
The makers of the show has approached Madalsa Sharma the daughter-in-law of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, to play the negative lead in place of Aditi.
Madalsa is married to actor Mimoh Chakraborty, son of Mithun Chakraborty. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Fitting Master. She has starred in the Rajshri film Samrat & Co.
