Veteran actor, Kiran Kumar tests positive for COVID-19
Veteran film and TV actor Kiran Kumar has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently under home quarantine.
According to Times of India, Kumar had gone to hospital for a minor medical check-up and decided to test for the virus, which turned out to be positive. Kiran Kumar has been self-isolating after testing positive for coronavirus, ten days ago.
“I am asymptomatic. On May 14, I went to the hospital for a medical check-up, where the COVID 19 test was mandatory. So I got myself tested and the result was positive.
“But I had no symptoms then, nor do I have any now. There”s no fever, no cough, I”m fine and have self quarantined at home,” Kumar told PTI. Kumar will be undergoing anther test on Monday 25th May.
The actor is known for playing characters of villain and father in Bollywood movies. He is known for his roles in films like Tezaab, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Dhadkan and Mujhse Dosti Karoge, He was last seen in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai (Sony TV). He played the role of a loving grandfather to lead actor Randepep Rai’s character Sameer in the show. The viewers loved the grandfather and grandson bonding in the show.
