According to latest reports, The set of the TV show ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’ has been moved from Karjat to Filmcity, Goregaon.
The change in the track has led to the shift as the story has moved from the region of Magadh to Takshila, and the studio at Karjat does not have a set ready for the same. The production unit plans to shoot in the area where they were earlier shooting for ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra — Maharana Pratap’.
Producer Abhimanyu Singh confirms, “We have completely recreated the set for Maharana Pratap into Takshila now and we plan to shoot for 15 days here. The set for Takshila is under construction at Karjat, where we will continue to shoot for the Pataliputra track.”
Amit Behl, who plays Amatya Rakshas, says, “Filmcity is easily accessible, so it will be convenient for people like us to commute. But both the sets are gigantic. It will be a visual treat to watch the Takshila set at Karjat when it is done.”
