She didn’t want to quit her show Ishq Subhan Allah but take a break from the show as she pursue her film career. But the makers did not agree and they had to part ways.
In an interview with a leading media house, Eisha shared that it was very difficult decision for her to quit the show. She said “It was very difficult for me to quit Ishq Subhan Allah. It feels bad when you quit or the show goes off air. I gave my heart and soul for all my roles but the character of Zara is very close to my heart. I was skeptical to take up Ishq Subhan Allah. At that time I had two other offers as well. However, I agreed for Ishq Subhan Allah as the subject was very different and challenging. The show has given me a lot and till date I get emotional watching the show and behind the scenes videos.”
TV actress Tunisha Sharma was roped as the new female lead after Eisha’s exit from the show. Her character was called Zara. Thought the actress took up the challenge to fill in Eisha’s place as the female lead, the viewers were much disappointed with the new story line and eventually the makers had to pull the show off air.
Well, we hope to see Eisha back on TV soon after the end of this lockdown phase.
