This is a place that ultimately rewards your talent – The Producers Guild Of India to the aspiring talents in film industry
Just a while before, TV & Film producer Ekta Kapoor shared an opened letter from The Producers Guild Of India to restore faith in aspiring talents who dream to make their mark in the Indian Film industry.
Over the past few weeks, the unfortunate demise of young Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has reignited the debate around nepotism and the pressures of “outsiders” in the Bollywood Film Industry. The ongoing investigations in the death of the late actor has further highlighted the extensive use of drugs in the film industry.
In the open letter, the guild requests the aspiring talents not to get misled by clickbait journalism and reinstates the fact that there are scores of actors. directors, musicians, writers, costume designers and numerous other film industry professionals who have flourished and made path breaking career in the same industry and have defined and redefined Indian Cinema time and again. The guild has strongly condemned trolling, death threats and rape threats to the women who may beg to differ with the ongoing debates.
The guild also requests media to stop sensationalizing and spreading negativity and be more human in their efforts to bring out the truth.
