India’s Got Talent Season 6 winner, Manik Paul wishes to see himself part of Bollywood someday
The 22 year old winner, was born in Assam and moved to West Bengal for studies and his aspirations brought him to Mumbai.
He lost his father at a very young age in a terrorist attack in 1999. His mother brought him up by running a tea stall.
He is not interested in doing any more reality show and wishes to work for his idol director and choregrapher Remo Dsouza someday.
He still cannot believe he has won the show. His journey was not easy at all, it was exceptional.
Earlier, his plans were to join the army and hence he remained fit by running and doing martial arts. He joined a dance group and his interest and love for it started growing day by day which brought him to Mumbai.
He was appreciated by actor Varun Dhawan and Remo Dsouza in a episode of IGT 6 where they had come for promotion of their movie ABCD 2.
The India’s Got Talent winner received 50 lakhs cash prize and Maruti Suzuki Celerio hatchback car. He plans to buy a house in Mumbai with the prize money to stay with his mother.
He is currently doing Terence Lewis’s Diploma of dance which will be completed in next four to five months where he is learning malkhamb and contemporary dance.
