Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai Review, Story So Far

Star Plus new show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai – The mystery of Sach Saazish Os Dhoka will keep you at the edge of your seat

Star Plus launched the very first episode of the weekend prime time show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai (KLKAH), starring popular TV actors Shoaib Ibrahim and Surbhi Jyoti in the lead roles.

The onscreen chemistry of Shoaib and Surbhi as Abhimanyu and Gitanjali has already made heads turn.

Produced by Sphere Origins, the show has garnered attention with in its first episode. Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai opened in a very grand scale and we are already rooting for the show’s success.

Here’s review of the show highlighting what’s good and what intrigued us the most.

The first episode of the show has the beauty of Rajasthan captured at its best. From the sand dunes, to the royal haveli each and every nuance was captured wonderfully and the cinematography was just amazing!

In first episode we got to see the three important characters saying with force Rajput Hoon, Rajputani Hoon; and this Rajput factor has already got us intrigued.

What we loved the most about Abhimanyu was the way he said, Rajput hoon, har vachan pe jeeta hoon, har kasam pe marta hoon, This one line of his stole the show for us. The way Gitanjali made the reference of Prithviraj Chauhan and Sanyuktas story to Abhimanyu, and his answers to it was blended perfectly in the show.

The sizzling chemistry between Surbhi Jyoti and Shoiab Ibrahim and the soulful rhythm of Lag Ja Gale was one the highlights of the first episode. Surbhi Jyoti is one such actress who can craete chemistry with any actor but Shoaib is a surprise package. Gitanjali and Abhimanyu’s story of need and love came across rather with a hard hitting chemistry.

In the opening episode of Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, the viewers got to see three different characters, each one of them have layers to be uncovered and their layers seem to be connected in an entangled knot in a twisted way.

We have Rishabh (Sharad Kelkar), Gitanjali’s brother who is visually impaired, yet with ruffles of the shirt, creeks of the ground, he happens to catch hold of everything and know anything. We have Gitanjali, who loves her brother and has given her heart away to a man in Uniform (Abhimanyu). She seeks acceptance of her brother yet does not fall weak and goes ahead to marry her love without her brother’s permission. She is scared, but not done and dusted.

And we have Captain Abhimanyu Singh Rathod, as the name sounds heavy so is the character’s impact. The way he challenged the brother of the woman he loves, the way he refused to back down, spoke volumes about Abhimanyu.

Whether it were the words Abhimanyu said to Rishabh or it was the tone he used with him, it spoke of familiarity.

The one character connecting both Rishabh and Abhimnayu is Gitanjali. She being Abhimanyu’s love and Rishab’s sister, it looks like on our hands we indeed have a tale of entangled knots amongst the three of them.

Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai does not really seem like a age old ghost story, but rather the show has mystery prefixed and suffixed to it making it a thrilling watch. From the time the show opened to the end of it, the show offered more and more puzzles to solve in the maze of the desert. Everything in the show gives arise to a question, if it is indeed! sach, saazish or dhoka.

From the time when Abhimanyu uttered, Har vachan pe jeeta hoon, har kasam pe marta hoon, to the questionable end of Abhimanyu, had us wondering who is it he has given vachan to and is he really dead or does he want everyone to believe so?

Who is responsible, Rishabh? Can Gitanjali catch on and crack the puzzles surrounding her? Who here represents the sach, the saazish and the dhoka is a mystery to unfold in itself. And not to forget the chiming of Rishabh’s clocks, Gitanjali’s payal and Abhimanyu’s breath is an interlinked huge mystery in itself.

Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai seems like a classic mystery thriller made for the small screen and it is obvious the channel and the makers of the show will leave no stone unturned to make the tale a gripping one.
