Today’s (03.03.2015) Star Plus Masterchef India season 4 starts with a service challenge where the contestants are divided into two teams and they have to serve guests for Jamavar lunch service at the Leela Hotel, Mumbai.
Judges ask Bhakti to chose two captains for the team challenge and ask her if she can join the team challenge.
She choses Vijay and Ashish to lead the teams. Contestants are divided in to teams
Red Team: Vijay (captain) along with Nikita, Bhakti, Karishma Blue Team Ranveer Brar
Blue team: Ashish (captain) Pratibha, Meenu, Neha
The blue team will be guided by chef Ranveer Brar while Red Team is guided by chef Vikas Khanna and the teams get 2 hours of prep/menu planning time and 2 hours of servicing after which the winning team will be decided.
Both teams struggle with menu planning and chefs Ranveer Brar suggests teams to work on their individual strengths for menu planning while Vikas Khanna tells captains to take charge of their teams.
Red team decides to make a Achari Paneer gravy served with mushroom-matar upma in main course and sarson saag galouti kabab served with corn stuffed kulcha. Chef Vikas likes the Menu.
Blue team decided to make paneer makhani based gravy for main course, achari mushroom kebabs and cutting chai creme dish for sweet dish.
Both Ashish and Vijay are unable to lead their teams and their teams are lead by Neha and Bhakti respectively.
Sanjeev Kapoor suggest red team that their sarson galouti kebabs are not melting in the mouth while their makhani gravy is tasting but doesn’t take like a traditional makhani gravy
Chef Ranveer gives gis Blue team a check list before service time and suggests Karishma to buck up as she is behind.
Vijay nags about having Karishma in the team as she is more of an individual player.
In the end, precap of tomorrow’s episode shows that the contestants are serving the guests at the Jamavar service. Once of the guests complain that the Blue teams Makhani gravy is served cold.
