Mohsin Khan talks about his Eid plans, asks fans to stay at home

TV actor Mohsin Khan who essays the role of Kartik Goenka in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) is one of the most loved actors in Indian television industry. His onscreen pairing with co-star Shivangi Joshi as Kartik and Naira in YRKKH has a massive fan following on social media.

Like all of us, Mohsin is also adhering to social distancing and self quarratine during the ongoing lockdown on account of coronavirus pandemic.

Mohsin is spending quality time with his family and celebrating the Ramzan with them at home. He is also observing Roza (fasting) during Ramadan.

Recently, in an interview with a leading web portal, Mohsin revealed how different it is this time to observe fasting amid lockdown. He shared “Since there is no shoot iftari happens timely with family. It is the first time ever that Ramadan and Eid will be in the lockdown.”

His also shared that his mother is pampering him with his favoruite dishes like kebabs, biryani and pakoras. She also stops him from doing household chores but he tries to help her in whatever way possible. Like many others, Mohsin will be celebrating Eid at home with his loved ones. He requested the fans to support the efforts of the Goverment to contain the pandemic by offering the prayers on the day of Eid at home. He asked fans to stay positive and clam during this crisis time.

He said “I pray and wish that Corona goes away and we can live a normal life like before. I request everyone to stay at home and follow the guidelines as specified by the government. Social distancing is the reality and we have to live with it, social distancing is the new normal. Taking care of mental health is very necessary. One needs to stay positive. I believe it is nice to be important but more important to be nice. One must live life one day at a time. I request everyone to stay calm and safe at home.” 

Talking about the TV industry being badly hit with the lockdown, the actor said that he is much positive that sooner or later there will be a solution to this crisis. He added that we all have to be patient and stand with our family in this challenging times. He quoted late Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor’s popular dialogue, the show must go on.
