Kumkum Bhagya actress Mugdha Chapekar appeals State Government to reconstruct her village Shrivardhan in Maharashtra’s Raigad district
TV actress Mugdha Chapekar, is known for her role as Prachi in Zee TV’s popular serial Kumkum Bhagya (Balaji Telefilms). The actress has come forward with an honest appeal for her village Shrivardhan, in Konkan region of Maharashtra.
Shrivradhan and the surrounding areas including Harihareshwar, Dive Agar in Maharashtra’s Raigad district bore the brunt of Cyclone Nisarga on Wednesday.
According to media reports, the most severe damage due to cyclone Nisarga was reported from Murud and Shrivardhan. The work of inspecting the damage is underway. Efforts are being made to bring life back to normalcy. Several kutcha houses, temporary shades were destroyed, while hundreds of trees and many electrical poles were uprooted and roofs of some structures were blown away by the storm.
Mugdha who belongs to Shrivradhan village in Konkan region, took to Instagram and shared the plight of the region in a video as the locals who are severely affected with the damages caused by the storm. She makes an honest appeal to the everyone to share the video in order for the State Government to take necessary efforts to reconstruct the area.
