Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee asks seeks help from Mumbai Police after facing harrasament and online bullying
Famous Bhopuri actress Rani Chatterjee has threatened to end her life because of depression. The actress took to Instagram to share her ordeal and seek help from Mumbai police against online harassment and said that she might end her life because of depression.
According to her post, Rani is being harassed by a man named Dhananjai Singh who has been harassing her on Facebook for years and because of that, the actress has been struggling with depression. He calls her ‘moti’, ‘budhiya’ and posts vulgar comments about her on social media, which has affected her badly. She revealed that she has been ignoring it for years but now she can’t take it anymore.
She wrote, “Main kayi saalon se iss baat ko lekar pareshaan ho chuki hoon, maansik tanaav se guzar rahi hoon. Yeh chahta hai ki main apni jaan de doon. Iski wajah se mere niji zindagi mein bahut tanaav hai.”
Addressing her note to Mumbai Police, the actor said if she takes any extreme step, Dhananjai Singh would be responsible for it. She added that she had sought help from cyber cell too but they mentioned that since her name is not mentioned in any of the said posts, no action could be taken.

The Bhojpuri beauty has starred with popular stars like Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishan, and is also known for her roles in films like Sasura Bada Paisawala, Sita, Devra Bada Satawela, Rani No. 786 among others.
Rani was last seen in Colors reality show Khatron Ke Khildai 10. She was the first contestant to get evicted from the show.
