Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do, Nazar 2 will be going off-air now amid the ongoing lockdown
As per latest reports, Star Plus serials Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do (DJDDD) and Nazar 2, which were recently launched by the channel, will go off air. The decision has reportedly been taken in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic which has wreaked havoc on the world.
Created by well-known writer-filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Dil Jaise Dhadke stars Javed Savaille, Hirva Trivedi, Shruti Seth and Rahil Azam in important roles.
The show was supposed to take a leap and the new star cast was signed in but the owing to the shooting coming to halt on account of coronavirus break out, the show has come to an end.
Confirming the development, producer Guroudev Bhalla adds, “Yes, unfortunately, it is true but our strong association with Star team continues as we are doing a few new projects with the network. They should come out very soon.”
Gul Khan’s Nazar 2 stars Bhojpuri actress Monalisa, Shruti Sharma, and Sheezan Mohd in lead roles. Talking about the show going off air, actor Sheezan Mohd said that the decision is sad but, given by the circumstances, it was expected.
“I was preparing for Iftaari and I got a message from the production house that there’s gonna be a conference call between us, the actors, and the makers. Honestly speaking, I thought ‘this can’t be good news’ because con call happens usually when the shoot is about to start or about to end. Unfortunately, I got a call saying that the show will not continue after the lockdown,” said the actor to a leading daily.
