Star Plus recently launched show “Ishqbaaz” is gaining popularity and trending on the TRP charts with its promising star cast and interesting story line of a strong bond between three brothers Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta), Rudra (Leenesh Matoo) and Omakara (Kunal Jaisingh).
TV Actress Vrushika Mehta of Dil Dosti Dance fame who has entered Ishqbaaz as Ishaana spoke is very happy to be a part of the show.
In an interview, the talented actress shared about her experience with the Ishqbaaz team and more. She said “I am slowly slowly getting the hang of things here. It is fun being on set, meeting new people and everyone is so nice. My character Ishana is unique she has a youth feel which you can guess with her costumes.”
When questioned about why she decided to join Ishqbaaz, Vrushika said, “There is no regular saas bahu weeping drama. The interaction’s among all the characters is how we speak amongst ourselves or with our parents. The maker’s are panning out the screen play and story in such that if you come across Ishqbaaz while flipping channels, it will grab your attention. You always want to what happens next.”
Coming to her personal acting journey this Amdavadi chhokri says, “I prefer to go with the flow. The same case with bagging Ishqbaaz, I was doing other stuff when I got the audition call.”
“I was very lucky to get D3 as I always wanted to do something with dance. This Channel V show not only taught me various aspects of shaking a leg but also how to act i.e. face the camera, dialogue delivery etc,” added Vrushika.
“I next played a modern bahu in Zee TV’s Satrangi Sasural; It was quite challenging for my character Tahira to deal with seven different saas. At first I was bit scared in company of industry veterans like Farida Jalal. But they went out of their way to make me comfortable.” added Vrushiika who has also done a couple of Yeh Hai Aashiqui stories as well.
Talking about her on and off screen chemistry with co-star Kunal Jai Singh (Omkara), she says, “He is very cooperative and always offers multiple options to approach a scene. Shooting become much easier, if everybody is on the same page.”
Vrushika is very happy with the rising popularity of Ishqbaaz, “We all are putting in our best, and you feel nice if your efforts are appreciated. I would want more love. Rest assured we will keep you entertained.”
